Dogs only eat grass when they don't feel well?

I heard this recently, and couldn't figure it out. I love grass. It's green, tastes fresh, and has lots of moisture. Why would you wait until you don't feel well to grab a mouthful of the best thing since rawhide bones? Sheesh!
